OUR ROBUST CURRICULUM

Rooted in the core tenets of our Catholic Faith and Sacrament Preparation, our curriculum encompasses a wide array of subjects, including Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary, the Writing Process, Mathematical Thinking, Reasoning and Calculations, Scientific Inquiry, Geography, Social Studies, History, Physical Education, Music, Graphic Arts, and much more.

Our innovative GEMs Program (God, Emotions, and Mindfulness) provides confidential and personalized remote support to students and families seeking social and emotional growth and learning assistance. This initiative was introduced in response to the pandemic, anticipating the heightened need for supplementary support.

St. Joseph School facilitates Progress Monitoring and Differentiated Instruction throughout all grade levels. Our meticulous data analysis informs the creation of Individual Learning Pathways tailored to each student's needs. We integrate various computer-based Blended Learning experiences across all subjects, including The Learning Odyssey, IXL, Language Nut, Pearson Online, Fast Forward, and more.
Furthermore, we offer Italian for grades 5-8, American Sign Language from Pre-K to Grade 4, and a revitalized music program to enrich our educational offerings.

In 2020, our esteemed Best in Class Committee took the lead in orchestrating a $750,000 renovation initiative, which notably included the establishment of a TRAC (Technology, Reading, Art, and Computer) Center as well as a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Laboratory. This State-of-the-Art Facility now provides an immaculate and contemporary learning environment, boasting enhancements such as Promethean Boards, LED Lighting, and comprehensive air conditioning.
